It is though that it came from the word (avrah kadabra)which mean ( I will do as I am saying)some linked it to the word abraxas which is the devil name.the physician Serenus Sammonicus used it in his book (de medicina)which he said it can be used in treatment of disease when written on patient abdomen in a cone form.
